It's time for a change. BEARD Hockey began in 2020 as a subscription, sim results-based league. We are transitioning to a free, NHL-based rerate league in the summer of 2022.

THE DISPERSAL DRAFT

In one of the most unique Dispersal Drafts ever, each team will begin to build out their pro and farm rosters, coaches, prospect lists, and Entry Draft picks in a 28-round sprint taking place in just two calendar weeks.

PHASE ONE: Live Drafting - 8 rounds over 2 nights

A traditional start to the Dispersal Draft. Each team will have 3-5 minutes to make a selection from the available asset lists LIVE on our Discord draft channel. Eight rounds will be completed over two nights.

Starting immediately with Phase 1, teams may begin selecting Pro and Farm Coaches, Prospect Lists, and Draft Pick Packages as well! See more on this below.

PHASE TWO: Daily Drafting - 6 rounds over 4 days

For Rounds 9-14, each team will have one hour during "Draft Time" (10am to 12am daily) to select an asset or package from the available lists at their Draft position.

PHASE THREE: Daily Double Drafting - 10 rounds in 6 days

For Rounds 15-24, each team will have one hour during draft time to make two selections at a time from the available player, coaches, prospect, or Draft Pick Package lists.

PHASE FOUR: Triple Up Live Drafting - 4 rounds in 2 nights**

For Rounds 25-26 and 27-28, each team will have 10 minutes to make three selections at a time from the available player, coaches, prospect, or Draft Pick Package lists LIVE on our Discord draft channel.

**This is an idea for right now to liven up the end of the draft - we'll firm this up as we get closer to the Dispersal Draft.

All teams must have 42 players, a pro and farm coach, a prospect list, and a Draft Pick Package by the end of the Dispersal Draft.

DISCLAIMER: Obviously people are not going to be available at all times during this draft. However, all teams must either make their selections in person or submit lists as needed to the Commissioner. Failure to make picks or send lists over an extended period will result in termination. Proxies will not be allowed.

NOTE: Prospect Packages contain 10 randomly placed prospects in a bundle. Draft Pick Packages contain seven rounds worth of picks that are pre-positioned. Beginning in Round 1, teams can select one of these bundles at their draft position, giving you more control over your club's destiny.

#1: What is the FMV value of a player with an 80 OV rating?

#2: What is the penalty for a team going over the Salary Cap or under the Salary Floor during the Regular Season?

#3: What is the max number of players a team can retain salary on during the regular season?

#4: True or False? In BEARD Hockey, Signing Bonuses cannot lower a player's salary.

#5: Will you adhere to the Basic Principles laid out in the first section of the Rulebook?

#6: How many leagues are you currently in?

#7: How long have you been playing STHS sim hockey?

#8: What made you submit your interest?

#9: We're aiming for a mid-summer start to our Dispersal Draft. Sound good to you?
