With the Nashville Predators mid-season update, we check in with Farhan Lalji, Preds inside reporter, on what's been going down in Smashville.

The Predators are looking interesting at mid-season, sporting a 15-10-0 record in their last 25 games, with an overall record of 22-19-5 on the season.
Since new general manager Mathew Peltier stepped in, the club has remained strong. We have seen him make some deals and it seems like he has brought in a mixed bag of youth, along with draft picks and some new names.
Says Farhan: "Yes he definitely has, he has moved players such as Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron, Cam Fowler, and others. But he has brought in some new faces in Jacob Bernard-Docker, Kaiden Guhle, Gabriel Landeskog, James van Riemsdyk, and John Gibson to fill some spots."
The draft picks he has picked up have filled some holes left from prior management as well.
The team had been rolling on a three-game win streak but fell to St. Louis on Tuesday night. However, with a possible further move currently pending, Peltier has been rumored to be in talks with an eastern conference team that may solidify his intentions regarding the rest of the season. Stay tuned.
Thanks, Farhan. We appreciate your input and look forward to hearing from you soon!
