All but one game on the Monday docket was within one or two goals; BEARD Hockey clubs return from break with competitive action.

Jeff Skinner, Justin Schultz, and Ryan Reaves tallied goals, while Jake Allen made 30 saves, powering the Golden Knights to a 3-1 win (and a 3-1-1 mark) over the Sharks.


Martin Necas scored his first and second goals of the year, while Carey Price made 36 saves, as Buffalo wins their second straight in a 5-2 victory over host Montreal.


Nashville continues their solid start, as Patrik Laine adds his fourth and fifth goals of the early campaign and Marcus Hogberg stands tall with 34 saves, pushing the Predators to a 4-2 win over the Avalanche.


New Jersey gets back on track after goals from five different players sends the Devils to a 5-3 win over the struggling Hurricanes.


Jordan Binnington makes 31 saves, Nikita Kucherov, Colton Sissons, and Travis Konecny each add a goal, as the Bruins defeat the Blue Jackets 3-2 in Columbus.


Troy Stecher put a back and forth game away for the Islanders with his first goal of the season, while Pekka Rinne adds 30 saves, in New York's 3-2 win over the host Penguins.
