New GM Derek Lessard takes over a solid Coyotes squad that captured the Central Division last season and is currently riding a 6-game winning streak.
The allure of draft capital nearly swayed Lessard into seeking another BEARD Hockey club (in the Beantown area), but immediate success was hard to turn down.
The Arizona Coyotes are well-positioned with multi-award winner Brayden Point, Anze Kopitar, and Max Pacioretty up-front. The back end also features Alex Pietrangelo, Marc-Edouard Vlasic, and young stud Quinn Hughes.
The farm club in Tucson features good youth and most of the 'Yotes' draft picks are still in-house. The future is certainly bright in the sunny desert (or dessert?).
