Canucks Aim To Keep Pace

Vancouver is a team in transition, but GM Shaun Young aims to keep the club competitive through a mini-rebuild with a focus on youth.

The Vancouver Canucks are off to a good start so far to the season. GM Shaun Young is keeping his team intact.

"We are trying to fix up some pieces to the puzzle by adding in more offence and defense to the club, as we want to be more contending," said Young.

The team's leading scorer, Ryan O'Reilly, is on a hot streak with 15 points in 15 games as he tries to lead the team to their first Stanley Cup.

Vancouver's goal for this season is to stay competitive while also staying young with a mix of a rebuild in process. The team is relying on goaltender Ben Bishop to lead the Canucks during this time.
