The Canucks have announced final plans for the second intermission and the post-game entertainment for the New Year's Classic game.

The Vancouver Canucks would like to announce that they have finalized plans for the second intermission and the post-game entertainment for the New Year's Classic game being held at BC Place in Vancouver on January 1st, 2021.

The second intermission will feature notable Vancouverites Carly Rae Jepsen, Bryan Adams, and Michael Buble singing freshly written ballad "Beyond the Mask" in support of frontline healthcare workers. Watch for cameos from Ryan Reynolds and Seth Rogan, who are expected to announce their new product "Stone Whiskey: A Joint Venture", which will be distilled by team sponsor 'Sazerac', and available in all luxury seats going forward. The post-game show will be a family event, as all "New Years Classic" ticket holders are invited to come down to the field surrounding the rink post game for hot chocolate and coffee by donation, while kids under 12 will be able to bring their skates and skate with some of the pro's that will be sticking around after the game! The Vancouver Canucks would also like to announce that their 50% share of excess ticket and entertainment revenues will be going towards the wonderful charity "Right to Play", as well as setting up a new bursary to aid in costs for the Canadian Paralympic Sledge Hockey Team, of which they are strong supporters. This is surely to be an amazing event, so please pay attention, and if you can't make it out, watch live at home on CBC!
